Our base salaries are reviewed each April. Salary increases are based on performance, internal relativities and market data.
Superannuation is paid at the statutory percentage but is also paid on STIP (bonus) and Commissions.
Bonus / Short Term Incentive Program (STIP)
Apotex offers an annual Short Term Incentive Program with a target of a percentage of the base salary. The achievement of stretch targets in the form of Key Performance Measures (KPMs) is essential to earning a bonus.
Employees in direct sales positions earn an uncapped commission. It is one of the most generous commission schemes in the industry.

Paid Parental Leave
Apotex offers a very generous paid maternity leave scheme of three months base salary to permanent employees with at least 12 months service. Paternity leave of three days paid leave is also provided.
